Red-Albino Blood Pythons
The red-albino morph is the first blood python appearance to be bred in captivity. The first babies hatched out here at VPI in 1997. In the ensuing years, we obtained a number of wild-caught red-albinos. The variations in colors and patterns of these wild-caughts have allowed us to line-breed for particular traits. This has resulted in a number of very special lineages, including the Cherry-Bomb, Red-X, Striped-Albino, and Yellow Albino. We are working on many more. These are spectacular snakes--big, healthy, easy-going. There is a tremendous future for this morph in caaptivity.
