Borneo Python Gallery

The Borneo python, Python breitensteini, is a close relative to the blood python and is sometimes confused with that species. Borneo pythons are a very popular species in captivity. It is just now coming to light just how much variation in color and pattern exists in this species. We have kept this species since 1989, and here at VPI we were the very first to breed this species in captitivity. We continue to keep a large colony of Borneo pythons, and we think they are one of the pythons that are ideally suited for captivity. Take a look at some of the extraordinary morphs that we have proven and  produced here at VPI.
