This is the kind of thing that makes hatching pythons fun! First I love this pic because you can see the little slash marks the baby has made in his shell. Quite the little swordsman! First thing I notice is his head looks pretty light!

Next thing I know he sails out of the egg and shows a neat new take on the Ivory pattern. This is actually the second snake this year that has the reduced pattern on the neck-but this guy has even more. The good thing is the other snake is a female. Can we develop this variation?
